Our doctors take pride in providing comprehensive family eye care including exams, referrals, eyewear and other corrective products.

Dr. Marian Cotnam
Optometrist
Dr. Marian Cotnam joined the practice in 1989 after completing her Doctor of Optometry degree, with honours, from the University of Waterloo. She was hired to cover another doctor’s maternity leave and never left!
In addition to full-time regular practice, Dr. Cotnam serves as an assessor for the Quality Assurance Peer Review Program with the College of Optometrists of Ontario. She is also a Clinical Supervisor for optometry interns from the University of Waterloo.
Outside the office, Dr. Cotnam enjoys gardening, hiking and spending time with her husband, three children and two dogs.

Dr. Rima Mammo
Optometrist
Dr. Mammo joined the Bramalea Optometric team in 2012 after graduating with honours from the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Mammo worked alongside Optometrists and Ophthalmologists during her ocular disease internship at John Dingell Veteran Hospital in downtown Detroit, MI. She has a special interest in contact lenses and binocular vision.
Dr. Mammo enjoys traveling, soccer and spending time with her husband and her daughter, Emma.

Dr. Stephanie Lombardo-Neves
Optometrist
Dr. Stephanie Lombardo-Neves received her Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, graduating on the Deans Honour List. Dr. Lombardo has a long history with Bramalea Optometric Clinic. Prior to becoming an Optometrist, she started working as a summer student at the age of 17, and went on to complete an internship at the clinic.
Dr. Lombardo worked alongside Ophthalmologists and Optometrists during her ocular disease internship at the OMNI Eye Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.As a student, Dr. Lombardo attended a mission trip to Paraguay, helping provide free eye exams to over 3000 people who would have otherwise had no access to eye care.
In her free time, Dr. Lombardo loves to bake, travel, and spend time with her family and friends.

Dr. Brooklyn Roca
Optometrist
Dr. Brooklyn Roca completed her Optometry Degree at the University of Waterloo, graduating with Dean’s Honours. She was the proud recipient of the Dr. Irving Baker Excellence in Clinical Optometry Scholarship. Throughout her studies, Dr. Roca continued to work at Bramalea Optometric Clinic for many years. She completed one of her optometric internships at the clinic during her final year of study.
Dr. Roca gained experience in ocular disease and therapeutics while providing eye care to veterans at the Veterans Affairs Health Care Center in Tallahassee, Florida. During this placement, she was able to train with expert ophthalmologists and optometrists.
In her free time, Dr. Roca loves to travel, explore new coffee shops, cottage and spend time with her family and friends.

Dr. Tarnbir Thind
Optometrist
Dr. Thind joined the team at Bramalea Optometric Clinic in 2020. She received her Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2019. Dr. Thind gained a wide range of experience and knowledge while studying in Florida, in particular, in Ocular disease while working along side ophthalmologists in Miami.
Dr. Thind has a special interest in contact lenses and pediatrics. Although she enjoyed the sunny weather in Florida, she is happy to return home to Canada. In her free time, Dr. Thind likes to make puzzles, read books and go hiking.

Dr. Susan Cooper
Optometrist
After 40 years, Dr. Susan Cooper “officially” retired from practice on August 16, 2017. She did, however, come back to work a few days a month from January to June 2018. On June 22, 2018, Dr. Cooper “seriously” retired. She now has the well-earned opportunity to spend time with her two grandsons, Benjamin and Rory, and her newest grandchild, Ayla! As well, she will be able to travel even more—now for pleasure and not just business.
We wish her all the very best as she embarks on this new chapter! Cheers!!
